Cooper had his out-patient therapies in Roanoke today. His first therapy was PT and he got in the pool. We thought he'd love it, but he didn't. He was alright as long as he was being held onto tight. Speech was next and he did great. I was so impressed with Cooper following the directions she gave him and talking to her. OT was last and I was worried because he just worked hard for an hour and a half. However, he impressed us again! He worked hard and didn't really tire out until right at the end.

We had lunch at Chick-fil-a. Cooper ate very well and was in a great mood for the rest of the day. We got home around 7 this afternoon and he played on his own until 8:30.

Cooper also had his blood checked again today. His counts are still low, but up from last week.

I said Cooper occupied himself for a long time. Well during that time, he decided to get into the wipes we just refilled and pull every single one out one by one! He was so proud of himself!

Tuesday: February 4, 2014

Cooper had another amazing day. He was in such a good mood all day. He ate well and didn't nap but for an hour and a half. He told me twice today that he "peed" and "pooped," which he has been doing for about a week now. So far, every time he has announced it, it has been true! He sure is a smart little boy!

Monday: February 3, 2014

Cooper had a great day today. He was awake from 1 until 2:40 this morning, but then slept until 9. He played a lot on his own and I was able to take the Christmas tree down. We then had lunch: oatmeal and coffee flavored ice cream! He took a nice mid-day nap and woke in a great mood. He ate some more coffee ice cream and played in on his own some more while I fixed dinner. Cooper actually ate some mac and cheese and some ham. He didn't like my chicken!

Sunday: February 2, 2014

Cooper had a great day today, even though he didn't rest too well last night. He was up from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7. He played a lot this morning while I worked on some house work. He was very happy all day. He took a nice mid-day nap, then played all afternoon. He also ate really well today: two full bowls of oatmeal, a few bites of chocolate pudding mixed with cool whip, and some ham cubes. That's a lot for Cooper! We noticed him trying to use his left hand for crawling a lot today! Yay!

Saturday: February 1, 2014

Cooper spent most of his day sleeping. He slept until 8:30, was asleep from 10:30-1:30, and again from 3:00-4:00. Once he got up this afternoon he was in a good mood. He played a lot and ate well. Cooper also learned what "time-out" was today. He has decided to bite, so each time he does we make him sit in time out for one minute. He had to sit down 3 times today. Poor little boy! He knows as soon as he does it.

Cooper would not get in his rice tub. This is Mommy trying to solve the problem by getting in with him.

100th Post!

Friday: January 31, 2014

We had Cooper's eligibility meeting this afternoon. As we already knew, he was found eligible for Speech, PT, and OT. We thought we were busy now, starting next week I'm not sure if we have a spare minute. We are very satisfied with all the therapists and can't wait to get started.

Cooper seemed a little more upbeat today. He did take two long naps with only a 30 minute break in between them. We are hoping the next three weeks are amazing. He has a three week break from Chemo!  We will still have to go every week for blood work.

Mommy's Favs of the Day: Cooper was so funny...I was making a pizza and had cut up some ham. He, very sneaky, would grab a handful and eat it. I had to play along for a long time so he would keep eating!

Thursday: January 30, 2014

Not much happened today. Cooper and Mommy slept in, yay! Then we spent the first part of the morning cuddling. Cooper is still weak and doesn't have much energy. He took a long nap and wanted more cuddle time when he woke up. He was able to play for a while this afternoon and was in a pretty good mood.

I couldn't catch Cooper in action, but it thought it was funny knocking over the mailbox. This may not be a good sign!
