Cooper had his out-patient therapies in Roanoke today. His first therapy was PT and he got in the pool. We thought he'd love it, but he didn't. He was alright as long as he was being held onto tight. Speech was next and he did great. I was so impressed with Cooper following the directions she gave him and talking to her. OT was last and I was worried because he just worked hard for an hour and a half. However, he impressed us again! He worked hard and didn't really tire out until right at the end.

We had lunch at Chick-fil-a. Cooper ate very well and was in a great mood for the rest of the day. We got home around 7 this afternoon and he played on his own until 8:30.

Cooper also had his blood checked again today. His counts are still low, but up from last week.

Mommy's Fav of the Day: Just sitting back and enjoying a drink in the pool!

Using both hands to play in the beans and rice!

I said Cooper occupied himself for a long time. Well during that time, he decided to get into the wipes we just refilled and pull every single one out one by one! He was so proud of himself!

  1. Awesome pictures! So glad today was a good day. He sure knows how to enjoy a pool, laid back with a drink. And the wipes...that's hilarious! I bet he was a proud little guy! That reminds me of Susan when she was little. She could entertain herself so well, the only problem was you never knew what she was into. May a peaceful night come to all. Love, Hugs & Prayers

  3. Sounds like little Cooper keeps progressing nicely. I'm so happy he's doing well. I think about you all often and still read your blog daily. The pool therapy was the one thing that Tony actually enjoyed about his therapies. He use to get angry at the speech therapist and PT pushed him so hard he wasn't real happy with them either. However that is what makes them better and stronger. Keep up the great work Cooper.
