Today was the best day ever! Cooper made eye-contact and gave daddy high five! We cried tears of joy!

We met with Dr. Atkinson, Cooper's Oncology doctor, today. We discussed the Chemo plan. Cooper's tumor is an Low Grade Optic Glioma. It is not cancerous, but will continue to grow, therefore needing Chemo treatments. We are planning on starting these around Thanksgiving. He will have to go once a week for a minimum of 18 months. He will also need physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Cooper will have many obstacles to face, but he is a strong boy and we know he can do it!

As most all of you are aware, Sesame Street came to Roanoke. Most children had to go to them to see the show. But, Cooper is so special, they came to him!
