One week since surgery! He got some awesome new boots to help his feet today and he received music therapy. They took him off his sedation medications and we are waiting for him to wake up so HOPEFULLY he can get the breathing tube removed soon.

Cooper's breathing tube is gone! You can tell he feels so much better. He can't make any noise due to the irritation. He had to be watched closely for the first 2 hours after removing the tube to make sure he was able to continue to breath on his own.  He had a little trouble shortly after removing it, had a breathing treatment, and is good! He played, we read some books, kissed on his giraffe, and then got tired and needed a break and went back to sleep.

My boys - things are looking more like they use to - sleepy heads!!!
