Monday: December 2, 2013

A little after 7 this morning we heard "dadadadadadadada." Randy and I just looked at each other and laughed. Cooper was in the best mood this morning. We cuddled in bed and played for a long time. He took a short nap and then woke in an even better mood. He played in his crib for almost 2 hours. We have discovered he is fine as long as you don't have to move him. He is extremely sore and any change in position is very painful for him. He enjoyed mac and cheese bites and ice cream for lunch. Some of his favorite nurses stopped by to see him today and he was able to visit with Maw Maw. We took the dressing off his head and discovered a very interesting haircut. This is haircut # 2 for him, the first being when he had his tumor removed. We have decided not to cut his hair because he will start Chemo in the next few days and will lose his hair within 3-5 weeks. Overall, we have had a great day.

Cooper and Bubbles, the clown. He didn't like the duck at first, look at his face. Then, he warmed up.

  1. I'm so glad that Cooper had a good day! He may be starting a new trend with his cool hair cut. We'll call it the Cooper do! He is so precious and such a tough cookie. He continues to wow me. God must have great plans for this little fellow! I can't wait to see what unfolds for him....I know it is going to be something amazing!

  2. It's wonderful to see Cooper making such great progress. I wish he didn't have to endure what he does in order to make that progress. He is one tough little boy! I agree with Beth, we'll call his haircut "The Cooper Do." Looks much better than some I've seen! Always praying for Cooper and all of you. Love, Hugs & Prayers
