Cooper slept well last night and woke in a good mood. That is until they had to give him his medicine. That always upsets him. They decided to try some different scheduling with his therapies today since he gets so tired in the mornings with all of them back to back. So today he had ST first which he usually enjoys because it's a lot of play. Then he had OT. He didn't want to work as much for her. He was able to nap after his OT session, then have lunch, and nap again. His PT session was scheduled for 3 p.m. but she took him a little earlier because he was awake. He was still fussy. We are a little concerned because he doesn't have an appetite, he wants to sleep more, and he seems very upset. They did some blood work, which came back normal. They did a CT Scan, that also came back normal. They checked to see if he was having more fluid build up or if the shunt wasn't working correctly. So, we are assuming it's his teeth.
While Cooper napped, Mommy and Daddy went for a run. It amazes me that you can run 4 miles here and not have to circle the town 8 times like we do at home! We had lunch together, then went rollerblading. It was nice being able to get out and do some physical activities. Sitting in the hospital actually gets very tiring!
I wanted to thank everyone who has sent us things through the mail. Today we received 12 cards, some pj's, a necklace, a blanket, a cup, a chocolate mouse, some books, and a movie. Thanks again!

Sorry Cooper had a "fussy" day. Still looks like he had fun though. I'm glad that you and Randy got out for awhile today. It's also good to see that you had on your knee pads...don't need anymore skinned up knees! Love all the pictures, but the tub ones are always very cute. He loves bath time. Love, Hugs & Prayers

It looks like you and Randy had some fun and yes it was so good you two could get out of the hospital for a while..Love all the pic's and troopercooper you look amazing; the black and white Jessica are adorable... ReplyDeleteI know that when Kinsley is teething she's terribly fussy and even a little on the mean side. Love the pictures Cooper looks so happy in them. Glad to see you and Randy having some fun also!
ReplyDeleteJessica...Teething can definitely make for all kinds of problems....Dawson was up 3 times last night very fussy and not wanting anything...he has chewed through 3 sippy cup lids! You guys look great and Cooper looks great as well....I love the bath pictures the most!!! Always praying!!!
