I'm glad Cooper had a better day than he did night! He was up from 1:00 a.m. until 4:30 a.m. Then again at 6:00 a.m. Despite him not resting well, he had a great day. He was in a good mood for his therapist and worked hard for them. He did a lot of standing, but still wouldn't walk for PT. He was very happy during OT, but got tired at the end. Miss Janet is about the only one that can get him to eat more than a few bites. She worked with him eating during speech. He has been doing a lot more mocking and that's good progress for him. He skipped music class to take a nap! I told him he couldn't go home unless he passed all of his classes! I'm a little worried about music!

Cooper made us more than proud today. He was standing next to the chair with  Daddy and I was on the window bed. He decided he wanted me, so very bravely he took one single step without holding on to anything! Then while setting in the window bed, he put both hands on the window sill and held himself up for a long time. He even raised his right arm once, putting all weight on his left hand! He also got on all fours in the floor. This is one of his goals for the week!

After a nice long nap Cooper ate an applesauce for dinner, went for a wagon ride, played in the floor, took his bath, enjoyed some story time while sipping on milk, and fell fast asleep.

Enjoying a VERY early morning wagon ride!

These are the best pictures I could get of Cooper using both hands to hold himself up.

Mommy's Fav of the Day: The little stinker pushed me away from my computer and opened himself a new power point! At least he was using both hands to do it!

  1. Fantastic news! When I heard he held himself with his left hand, and took a step totally by himself, I was happy from the inside-out! This little man just keeps on keeping on. I absolutely love the computer picture. He's a very smart little guy and is so serious about his work on the computer. Love, Hugs & Prayers
